Camp Oloshaiki straddles a bank of the Talek River, under a canopy of indigenous fig and acacia trees. Creating a cool retreat from the heat of the plains, the leafy canopy attracts a large variety of bird life all day long and you will be gently awakened by a chorus of bird calls every morning.

The camp has just six private, spacious and charming tented pavilions designed for ultimate privacy and comfort. Each tent has its own private verandah. The tents are tastefully and luxuriously furnished with handcrafted four poster beds, one kingsize and one queensize, dressed with fine linen and mosquito nets. An extra single bed can be added without compromising on space.

One outstanding feature of the accommodation at Oloshaiki is the spacious and luxurious ensuite bathroom and dressing area with large wardrobe. The bathroom is of stone construction and all floors are clad with local Talek stone. The showers are large with ample hot and cold water.

Guest areas include a comfortable and cosy sitting room with fireplace and a well-stocked bar. The dining areas can be either inside or outside for al fresco dining. A barbeque under the stars is an experience that will be a lasting memory of your African safari.

Morning and evening bush walks within own vast grounds along the river, accompanied by resident guides in traditional attire, provide a wonderful experience. And for an insight into local culture, visitors may also visit a nearby manyatta for a glimpse of the day-to-day life of the Maasai people.
